The government today approved Ms. Kavery Banerjee

 

as Secretary of Department of Posts following 

 

retirement of P Gopinath on May 31. 

"The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Ms Kavery Banerjee, IPoS (Indian Postal Services) 78, as Secretary, Department of Posts, Chairperson, Postal Services Board and Director General, Postal Services," an official statement said. 

Ms.Banerjee was serving as Member (Technology) in Postal Services Board before being elevated to the new post. 

Her predecessor Gopinath, too, was elevated to the position of Secretary from Member (Technology) of PSB. ....

PLI /RPLI -New software rolled out in Namakkal HO and Tiruchengodu HO on 02.06.2014.

            This may be please be brought to the notice of all eligible officials working in your office including those who are on leave, deputation, training etc without fail. Applications of willing officials have to reach this office on or before 17.06.2014.  They should mention in their application whether they are willing to forgo TA/TP/CTG.
