An old post re-visited:
- Merge all GDS posts as one cadre.
- Make educational qualification as ‘Matriculation /10th standard’ for all.
- Divisional Head shall be appointing authority for all GDS.
- A three member committee may recruit them.
- Records like PF shall be maintained by divisional office.
- Service book concept shall be introduced for them.
- Transfer on request be shall be allowed within the sub division.
- All B.Os may be opened for 5 hours.
- Allow all GDS staff to carry forward the paid leave, with a ceiling on maximum.
- Pay shall be fixed for 05 hours and not as per workload.
- Reduce retirement age to : 60. To achieve this, bring in a scheme like VRS. It is essential as the Department is going to induct ‘Technology’ in a big way in B.Os.

-Now, Educational qualifications have been made as Matriculation for all posts.
-Recruitment is by Circle level Examination.
But other suggestions/requests are still valid...
