Only very few
officials who have got confirmation before 01.04.1988 are remaining in PA
cadre.
As per
rough estimate, there will be around 1900 Postal Assistants
in Tamilnadu Circle as on 01.04.2017, who were confirmed after 1.4.1988 and
appointed prior to 4.11.1992 for whom LSG has not yet been awarded and LSG is
to be awarded to them based on seniority list prepared w.r.t Date of their confirmation.
[Draft seniority list has already been circulated in 2016.]
For remaining LSG vacancies, PAs appointed after 04.11.1992 have to be considered. For this, seniority
list will be based on Date of joining and merit. No such draft seniority list
has so far been circulated.
