In LGO Examination, Surplus qualified candidates are listed and promotions are given in other divisions.
In Examination for IP cadre, this concept was introduced few years before and then discontinued.
In GDS to PA Examination, this concept is not followed. If there is no vacancy in a division, GDS officials of those division are not allowed to write the examination for that year. As there is age limit for writing the exam, this is injustice.
What is the basis for declaring Surplus Candidates in one exam and not doing the same in other exams.
